Knowledge Bases

Knowledge Bases are what give TeamTeachers their specialized knowledge and expertise.

Knowledge Bases provide TeamTeacher agents (TTs) with highly-specialized information that they can use to answer questions and provide assistance.

The TeamTeacher Texas knowledge base is a specialized knowledge base for the state of Texas. It is built from the extensive - but obtuse - state curriculum standards and assessment framework documentation available from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

TeamTeacher Cook Islands knowledge base. This knowledge base includes a curated collection of information from the official Cook Islands and New Zealand Ministry of Education documents.

Sources & Intellectual Property Rights

We take great care to ensure we are in compliance with all licensing agreements and intellectual property rights.

We include a few different categories of content in the knowledge bases.

  1. Public domain content. This includes government sources primarily, including public universities.
  2. Creative Commons licensed content. With attribution links where appropriate.
  3. Private proprietary content. Made by us.



Citations & Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you are in compliance with all relevant licensing agreements and intellectual property rights when using our knowledge bases.

  1. Attribution. Some of the content is CC-BY, which technically requires attribution wherever the content is used. If you copy a significant amount of content from TT's responses, check the source and provide attribution where appropriate.
  2. Educational use. Different jurisdictions have different rules about what constitutes "fair use" or "fair dealing" for educational purposes. Be sure to check the rules in your jurisdiction.
  3. Open questions. If you have questions about the content or licensing, please ask us. We are happy to help.
