New Models: Claude Opus 4.6 & GPT 5.2

We're excited to announce two major model updates in TeamTeacher!

Claude Opus 4.6

Claude Opus 4.6 is now available for TeamTeacher subscribers, featuring Anthropic's most intelligent model with the new adaptive thinking capability for complex reasoning and agentic workflows.

• 128K maximum output longer responses means longer documents, and more powerful workflows
• Up to 1M token context window in beta for a limited time. This model gets very expensive with a lot of context. We have to reserve the right to restrict access, but give it a try.
• Adaptive thinking - Automatically optimizes thinking depth for better performance
• Effort control - Automatically set to 'high' for best quality results

GPT 5.2

GPT 5.2 is OpenAI's flagship model for coding and agentic tasks, now available with:

• 400K context window - Work with massive codebases and documents
• 128K maximum output - Generate extensive content in a single response
• Enhanced reasoning - Improved performance on complex coding and analytical tasks

How to Use the New Models

1. Create a new conversation
2. Click the model selector
3. Choose "Claude Opus 4.6" or "GPT 5.2" from the dropdown
4. Click 'Set as default' to save
5. Start working with the latest AI capabilities

Deprecated Models

To keep our model library current, we've deprecated some older models:

• Claude Opus 4.5 → Use Claude Opus 4.6 instead
• GPT 5.0 → Use GPT 5.2 or GPT 5.1 instead
• GPT-4o → Use GPT 4.1 instead

Existing conversations using deprecated models will continue to work, but new conversations should use the updated models for the best experience. Eventually, the model providers will shut down access for deprecated models.
